The Scoop: Truck Dismount is the sequel/companion to Stair Dismount. Like that game, your goal is to cause as much injury as possible to your hapless humanoid dummy.
Unlike that game, you have more tools at your disposal than just a flight of stairs. This time around, once you hit the “go” button, a truck begins barreling towards a wall. A handful of sliders allow you to tweak the particulars – how fast the truck moves, where your dummy will be located (in the cab, on the hood, on the roof, etc), the size/location of a duo of ramps, etc. So, you just set the stage, hit go, and then watch the action unfold.
Truck Dismount is more sandbox-y than its predecessor. Although your high scores are still tracked, the emphasis isn’t purely on scoring this time around, so it’s up to gamers to make their own fun. Can you launch the guy over the wall? Can you get him to fall out of the cab? Can you get the truck to flip upside down? These are the sorts of challenges that have been keeping dismount fans busy for years.
